Acute Bronchitis Causes,Symptoms and Treatment

Bronchitis is a inflammation of the bronchi in the Lungs.There are two types of bronchitis.Acute and Chronic bronchitis.Bronchitis cause swelling and inflammation in the bronchi ,it characterized by cough for the secretion of mucus in the bronchi.

Acute bronchitis

Acute bronchitis is caused by Viruses.İn healthy people may not be seen any symptoms and it can goes without any symptoms.The most common symptom of acute bronchitis is a cough,cough is dry in the first days  after it turns with mucus.İt can be also seen fever and feeling tired.Cold and Flu may also cause acute bronchitis.People must be careful for acute bronchitis,Because pneumonia also seen like acute bronchitis symptoms but pneumonia has more serious complication than acute bronchitis.But in pneumonia main causes by bacteria so it can be with high fever ,in acute bronchitis  usually mild fever.

Symptoms of Acute bronchitis

Dry cough later cough with sputum
Mild fever
Feel tired

Treatment of Acute bronchitis

Usually it goes without any treatment  but in some case ,People may need to use
Cough suppressant
Pain relievers such as aspirin,ibuprofen or acetaminophen but do not give aspirin people who is under 20 years old.
Antibiotics also can be used ,specially for bacterial infection
