What is Gestational Diabetes ?

Gestational diabetes is a disorder in which pregnant women  without any previously diagnosed by diabetes.Specially blood glucose level increase during the pregnancy.The reason for the increasing blood glucose levek is insulin receptors do not function properly.This condition cause some pregnacy related factors such as hormones which increase during the pregnancy.

Gestationall diabetes commonly seen by few symptoms during the pregnancy.in the normal screening during pregnancy,diagnostic tests detect  high blood glucose level.It affects approximately 3-10 percent of pregnancies.

Gestational diabetes must diagnosed and should be treated, with the untreated gestational diabetes may at risk of problems such as may lead to delivery complications.Gestational diabetes is a treatable disease and can control with various medication and effectively decrease risk of the diabetes.
