Lung cancer: signs and symptoms

Lung cancer is a characterized by the uncontrolled cell growth in the lung.Today lung cancer is a one of the most common type of the cancer which causes death.Lung cancer is highly aggressive tumor which causes damaged another organs.it has potential risk for the metastases.

Lung cancer cases are getting much more than before because of changing life style and bad habits,which means smoking is a another main cause of the getting lung cancer.smoking specially main cause of the small cell lung cancer,it has high relative risk for the developing small cell lung cancer.small cell lung cancer is more aggressive type of the cancer and has high risk of metastases.people with small cell lung cancer has lower change to get rid of the cancer.

The main types of the cancer divided into two types  small-cell lung carcinoma and non-small cell lung carcinoma.

The main symptoms of the lung cancer are ;

Weight loss,difficult breath,chest pain and coughing

Weight loss and coughing are very common symptoms in lung cancer patients,loosing weight is very fast than normal.

Signs and symptoms which may seen in lung cancer

Lung cancer signs and symptoms depends on the stage of the diseases and types of the cancer.but commonly symptoms of cancer seen in every stage of lung cancer.respiratory symptoms are more specific ,such as coughing and wheezing or dyspnea and another symptoms are weight loss,fever due to infection and losing of appetite and in the advance stage of the lung cancer may seen obstruction airflow ,causing difficult  breathing and block the bronchial secretions.if it blocks the secretion which comes from bronchial so it is highly risk for the lung infection.

Another problem with the lung cancer is para neoplastic symptoms,those symptoms are seen in the late stage of the lung cancer.it may include Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome,increase secretion of anti diuretic hormones and damaging nervous system.

Cause :

Cancer cells has relatively relation with genetic changes.those genetic changes affect to the normal function of the metabolism.and as a result damage to DNA and uncontrolled cell growth and cause tissue growth.Smoking increase risk of the cancer,in the USA increase in sales of tobacco products that result also increase in the rate of lung cancer.Specially small cell lung cancer is highly relative with the tobacco products.Another risk for the cancer is air pollution specially radon gas increase risk of the cancer.Today air pollution is main problem in most of the country as well as in USA.
